North Dakota CNA Training
A competency test, training and other requirements need to be met before you can be a certified nursing assistant in North Dakota. Licensing is carried out by the North Dakota Department of Health, and you will need to fulfill all of their requirements prior to your name appearing within the official CNA registry. In very rare cases, people those such as military health professionals and licensed nurses may be able to become registered without needing to undergo additional training and testing.
Applicants may not have any felony convictions. Copies of your immunization records, proof of physical fitness, and tuberculosis testing documentation has to be submitted with your application. Once approved, you will be able to take the state run nurse aide examination.
It is important to note that not just anyone can take the CNA training course. You have to successfully complete all of the requirements set forth by the North Dakota Department Health before you will be allowed to go to the school of your choosing. If have at any point previously been licensed as a certified nursing assistant in North Dakota, you will have the ability to become re-licensed with minimal steps required. Additionally, certified nursing assistants licensed in other states in the U.S. can transition to work in North Dakota with ease.
