CNA Classes in Minnesota
Like many other states, Minnesota CNA classes involves locating a training program that is accredited by the state’s Health Department. An approved program will likely involve 75 hours of classroom training. You will also need to spend some time learning practical skills through hands-on training. Your program may or may not include CPR training. If not, you will need to obtain this certification elsewhere as it is also required to be a certified nursing assistant.
Once your training is complete, you will need to schedule your state exam. The exam usually consists of two parts: a written exam and a clinical exam. The written will go over things like terminology, duties, and theoretical situations. The clinical exam will assess your practical skills by watching you in action.
It is important to follow the Minnesota CNA class requirements closely if you wish to pursue working as a Nurse Aide in Minnesota. Your path to success starts by finding an approved training program.
