The Free CNA classes in Oregon provides the student with the skills to perform basic level nursing care. Generally the nurse aide content includes introduction to health care facilities, role of the nursing assistant, communication, medical terminology, basic body structure and function, patient needs, basic growth and development, preventing infection, body mechanics, and much more. Nursing assistants in Oregon performs routine tasks under the supervision of nursing and medical staff. They may answer patients call bells, deliver messages, serve meals, make beds, and help patients eat, dress, and bathe. CNAs may also take vitals such as temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure; and help patients get in and out of bed and walk.
