Free CNA Training in Oregon
The Free CNA classes in Oregon provides the student with the skills to perform basic level nursing care. Generally the nurse aide content includes introduction to health care facilities, role of the nursing assistant, communication, medical terminology, basic body structure and function, patient needs, basic growth and development, preventing infection, body mechanics, and much more. The certified nursing assistant courses below are currently approved by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
Upon successful completion of a free certified nursing assistant training in Oregon, students may sit for the Oregon State Board of Nursing certification exam for nursing assistants.
Nursing assistants in Oregon performs routine tasks under the supervision of nursing and medical staff. They may answer patients call bells, deliver messages, serve meals, make beds, and help patients eat, dress, and bathe. CNAs may also take vitals such as temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure; and help patients get in and out of bed and walk.

The classroom phase is four (4) weeks and the clinical phase is two (2) weeks followed by one (1) day for OSBN paperwork completion and one (1) day for graduation.

Clinical phase: Monday thru Thursday 6:00AM to 2:15PM

This nursing home is another one that will provide free CNA in Oregon in exchange for you employment at their facility after you have been licensed. They do not pay for you to take the state examination so you will have to come up for the money with that on your own. Their classes last for just a few months and you are even allowed to complete your clinical at their facility.
