Florida Patient Care Technician Training
The Florida Patient Care Technician program is designed to train students in all of the appropriate aspects of patient care. Trainees learn important technological skills through classroom instructions, hands on teaching experience and externship opportunities.
The classes are designed in a way to prepare students for employment as advanced cross trained nursing assistants. Student will be taught the skills about PCT/Phlebotomy/EKG Certification. The training provides a firm foundation that will covers the skill and care regimens that are fundamental to providing excellence care.
Leading successful completion of the course the Florida patient care technician students may be eligible to take the certification exam, which will consist of Phlebotomy Technician, and/or EKG Technician through the National Health career Association.
The Florida patient care technicians help the nursing staff and other medical team with examinations, treatment and broad-spectrum medical care of patients.
